Status Updates From The Haunting of Hacket House

Set aside for the time being.

I felt more like an editor fixing grammar and writing improvements in the margins, than a reader. Plan to pick this back up when I’m more in the mood for that kind of work.

This subplot about our mcs baby just doesn't fit and I so don't like her thoughts. She contemplates kidnapping a baby. And when a new friend vents her frustration about those moms and their prams in the village our Mc thinks of throwing her off a cliff. Wtf. The story could have done without this. There are also other things that irk and disturb me.

Finishing this one soon. It is weird and I feel it could have use some more editing. The whole subplot about Rowena and her husband feels weird and out of place, it gets randomly inserted in the story. I am also not sure how I feel about the MC. But the mystery, the scariness, that is good and I cannot wait to see how it ends.
