I might have to forget this book exists in the series 😅 The author wants to talk about racism (which is fine) but I think she’s overdone it. Alpine, so far, has been a nice town with interesting people and its fair share of problems. Now the whole town is racist and blatantly ignorant. I’m not discounting that racism exists, but the town has been portrayed very differently this time.

I have no idea how the author's gonna wrap this whole thing in the last few pages...
