Is it an autobiography? Sort of.

Another odd book by Coetzee so far.

A woman who will put up with shoddy work around the house because what matters is not that the windows close and the locks work but that her man have the space in which to live out his idea of himself. And who will afterwards quietly call in hired help, someone good with his hands, to fix up the mess.

Estas dos ultimas partes, Martín y Sophie hacen ver a ese "Coetzee" contradictorio y mucho más diminuto. Estoy realmente fascinado en como John uso estos juegos narrativos para crearse una "biografía entrevistada".

Este hombre si que sabe escribir. La nueva personaje que narró esta parte es completamente diferente a las demás y me fascina todos sus contrastes.

Julia y Margot, las dos primeras "narradoras" de una parte de la vida del "difunto" son muy distintas, del mismo modo en como influenciaron en la vida del escritor. Me encanta.

Han byter alltså berättarformen igen, intressant.
