Started book 2 now. The reason America nuked America is because Israel n Iran fighting. I actually cannot with how close this feels to the current day reality

Finished Shift. Beautiful. Harrowing. Can't wait to cry my way through season 03!

I kept being put in mind of Horizon: Zero Dawn, and the destruction of APOLLO. W.O.O.L feels like what Faro would have come up with if he was in charge of Project Zero Dawn instead of Sobeck.

Finished Wool. Juliette being made mayor wasn’t on my bucket list. Bernard dying was a bit of a bummer. He’s a great character (villain) in the show. Very well portrayed. Book 2 being more of a prequel is also a surprise. I hope we get back to Juliette n Lukas and Jimmy and the kiddos. I’m dying to know what happened to them.

There are more difference and while they don’t feel too different from the overall show the small differences they are making are making me like the world building of the book better than the show. The book leaves more to the imagination and while you can use show details to fill gaps I like the gaps
