The first part of this story was pretty tense and exciting but it felt like it fizzled out at the end.

This was a cute little story. A little heavy on the exposition but overall I liked it.

The idea behind this story was fun and I liked the way it described the scientific process, but the writing style with the shifting POVs was kind of weird.

Nothing too complex, but still a sweet little story about what a girl can accomplish when she's encouraged by the adults around her.

PLEASE ASSIST by Denise Sutton
Extremely stupid story with an annoying main character. "Oh I'm so sad because my mom says she loves me in a tone I don't like and the kids at school make fun of me for being a redhead, might as well just die." Hard pass.

Override by Janina Franck
I loved this story. Tense and exciting, really natural feeling worldbuilding, and a great ending.

The Better Mousetrap by Thomas Gondolfi
Parts of this were a bit uncomfortable to read because of all the microaggressions but overall this one was okay.

This story REALLY overused the word "azure" and a lot of the characters felt like stereotypes.

The Robotics Badge by Margaret A. Hanson
Okay full disclosure, my friend wrote this story. It was charming and lighthearted, and the solution to the problem was really funny.

This story was okay, but I thought the ending was kind of a downer and I didn't like the main character very much.

A DDREAM That Flies by Andrew K. Hoe
Things seemed to wrap up a little too easily in this one, but the worldbuilding was neat and felt original.

This story was okay but I thought the "justification" for one character being nonbinary was kind of weird.

I liked the way that Auddy’s decision sparked change in others, but this story sort of equates being disfigured with being evil and I'm tired of that.

Wheelchairs in Space by Nicole Iversen
This was so fun. I liked the way every scenario took Jacinta’s disability into account. Not so sure about the pirate speak though.

Chloe’s Last Stand by Abby, Nathan, and Russ Colchamiro
This one was okay, but the solution to the problem was way too simple and it felt like the sequel to a more exciting story.

I liked this one a lot. Interesting setting, exciting caper, great ending.

The Girl with Silver Feet by Jennifer Lee Rossman
Fun little Wizard of Oz retelling, but it also felt too short. Things were just starting to pick up when it ended.

This one was so fun. Great caper, fun characters, cool setting.

The story wasn't that exciting but I appreciated a different setting from any of the other stories.

Extremely stupid story about a Black girl falsely accusing someone else of stealing her research out of jealousy and fighting about it.

This didn't quite feel like a complete story to me and a few things seemed way too easy to accomplish, but it was a fun setting and I liked the characters.

The Receiver of Wrecks by Claire McCague
This one was okay, but the world-building was a bit confusing and despite a few plot twists I felt kind of distant from the story.

Beyond the Clouds, the Stars by M.M. Davies-Ostrom
This one was so good - tense and exciting, built a terrible but believable world in a short time. Loved it.

"Boo hoo, protesters and activists are evil" - boring premise and goofy story.

Jessie Jet by Glen Damien Campbell
Wtf is "kinky straight hair"? I like the Mad Max drag race concept but the overpopulation eugenics cull the disabled stuff is a little bit much.

Bye Bye, Kuronai by Blake Jessop
Still not one hundred percent sure how I feel about the whole Japanese schoolgirl robot thing, but this story had great characters, fun dialogue, and a great character arc. My favourite story so far.

The Reluctant Nerd by Paige Daniels
Didn't like this one much - the protagonist getting injected with a military-grade virus is brushed off weirdly, the one character aside from her who gets a physical description is the angry Black dude, the mom is super into her high school aged daughter dating a college student for some reason. The 90s setting was fun though.
