Despite the fact that I adored a different book of this author in the same series, (since the MC’s felt very real, relatable—in her own words—and the story was truly beautiful). For me, this book unfortunately lacks all of these elements. Nothing written here feels relatable to me and the progression of the MC’s relationship isn’t natural at all. Better luck with one of her other books next time, hopefully.
