Status Updates From Hunt, Gather, Parent: What ...

I have to go off on a tangent here. At this point in the book, we are being told to use story telling and I am mad. This is still a mechanism for control and fear and how to manipulate your child into the desired behavior through means of threats. True, maybe YOU aren't the threat, but you are introducing how many monsters in your home that will "take away" your child? How is this good advice?
