Status Updates From River Thunder

I finished reading the book and I can kind of relate to a few of the characters. Most of them are crazy and like adventures and i can relate to that. What they can do is go to the grand canyon, i can't relate to that. What I don't like about one of the main characters is that he is too controlling, he acknowledges this though. I also don't like how forgiving the actual main character is. She also cries too easily.
