Status Updates From Minor Detail

I…wanted there to be more to it
There to be something in the puzzle of terror to bring some understanding to the later generation
Something in the connection she felt to this girl murdered in suffering
Something more than echo
But the echo keeps going
Generation after generation
Where will it stop?
How will it stop
And the poisoned poisonous intruders, occupiers who pour their pain into others’ flesh + lives

It’s so much smoother to go with her, even in her fear and anxiety, traversing occupied Palestine, than it was to ride along with that poisoned officer decades prior. And u wonder if this is ptsd she’s struggling with or general anxiety or another ND state

The beginning of this chapter is the clearest description of my life in China or really all my professional life ever
Saying that feels like a violation considering everything in that first chapter and the circumstances within which this whole narrative sits
“What is permissible and what is not? And I end up trespassing even more borders”

This is a bit challenging since so little insight is given into the mind of our apparent main character, nor name nor personality, except that he seems stupidly stoic re: the bite of an unknown creature that seems to be poisoning if not killing him
