I don't blame Megan for being hurt/upset that Lucas kind of went behind her back with Dev (although Dev's angling for something with that, but that's besides the point). But she's admitted to herself that she was wrong about Lucas, so rather than working herself into a fit because Dev spilled her business and immediately going "I can never trust you again!"

Okay, that's a decent reason to be worried. But the build up was ridiculous since we got 0 hints from Megan on what/how bad it was

All I'm saying is Megan's whole horrible secret that she refuses to acknowledge better not be something like she failed a test and cried. All this build up better lead somewhere.

NGL, I'm kind of on Lucas' side in regards to their first meeting. Doesn't matter if it was because Megan was unfamiliar with driving the boat or not, it's still dangerous the way she handled things. On the water like that, even a small nudge can be damaging.
