The croud also goes wild because Kobe is the youngest to reach that many points, first there was Wilt Chamberlain, then there was Michael Jordan. The crazy part is that Kobe grew up watching them and has broke there record for youngest to reach 18,000

AUDIENCE 4.29: This book is for all ages because the book educates about Kobe Bryant, a legend. The author wrote this book to educate the audience about Kobe and show the audience how Kobe's career started and ended. The author educates when he writes, "out of nowhere, Bryant flashed in, grabbed the rebound, and put it back to give the Lakers a 120-117 lead." (pg. 103). This proves that Kobe puts time into his game.

4/8 Characterization: Kobe moves back to America in 1992. Kobe is confused but is ok with moving back. I understand that being back from a continent you haven't been to for 8 years could be hard. Number 1 Kobe spent all of his school time in Italy, 2 he had just started 8th grade which is one of the hardest grades ever. Kobe feels overwhelmed and scared to meet new people.

POV: Kobe is making a tough decision. The decision is the NBA draft. Kobe fears that he won't get another shot at the opportunity and thinks more and more about his decision. Kobe difficultly says yes and puts his name in the NBA draft and waits for a couple of days. When the draft night opens, he says yes and is drafted in round 1 drafted as the 13th pick, he is selected by the charlotte hornets.

Static Vs. dynamic: Kobe is now drafted into the NBA 13th pick for the Charlotte hornets. Kobe is now 17 years old and is being called a kid. The Charlotte hornets trade Kobe to the Lakers because of his age and how small and skinny he looked. Kobe changes because he knows how different the NBA is. Kobe even said he changed his play. Watching the NBA games had a major impact on him.

CHARACTERIZATION: Kobe is a competitive and athletic person. In the book, Kobe was on a basketball team and was offered to play for another school. Kobe wasn't the best on the team, but he practiced every night. The author writes, " Some days he would play basketball from 9:00 am to 9:30 at night." When I read that quote I thought Kobe was crazy but then i realized that he had that dog in him.

POV: Kobe is getting signed up it says on page 24, Kobe is a very confident and quiet person. Kobe was asked to 1v1 someone and he takes the offer and wins.
