i really want to finish this book today. i was disappointed when daddy-long-legs ended (and i was honestly disappointed with the ending), but dear enemy isn't so bad. still entertaining! but an intangible element of webster's snark is lost when she goes from giving an eighteen-year-old's perspective to an adult's. i love an incorrigible kid, y'know…

this book is laugh-out-loud funny. and charming.. so many mentions of how little women influenced this book, but no speculation toward how this book influenced harriet the spy..??
