I really want to like this but it needed an editor or more beta readers bc some scenes and how they play out don’t make sense at all then the next scene it’s slightly backtracked but it makes it confusing to follow

The first book starts good then takes sharp turns in the unexpected but not in a good way imho. It just seems contrived

At this point, I'm just skimming pages looking for the basic gist. This book desperately needed a ruthless editor. Pages and paragraphs and chapters of the same topics (he's a dragon, I'm a dragon, I named myself, she has scars, she's human, he's a dragon...again) over and over...endlessly.

There are 6 chapters. Edit, people. And when every chapter so far consists of the same 3 topics, cut a chapter or two in order to progress the story better.
