I have no idea why I'm now reaching for book two. The relationship between Milo and Raven isn't okay. Milo is sick and twisted. I don't get how this could be considered a romance, even a dark one, when all the FMC does is go on about how much she dislikes and resents her supposed love interest and was never truly romantically interested in him. Yet, for some reason, I still want to see how this train wreck ends.

Progress from first day. I am liking this book, and it is an easy read!

Milo has always been polite, so I know he will comply and play host. I was never going to make that motherfucker a drink. I need him to be aware that this is a power struggle, and I am forcing him to cater to me.

He might be enveloped with an angel's face, but he is darkness, and he made my life dark. He is Lucifer, the devil himself, disguised beautifully to trick mortal women. He is my worst nightmare.
