Goodness Katherine is such a fool. There is no question of her guilt in this story.

Chapter 20: I never thought a story could make me sympathize with Francis Dereham, Thomas Culpeper (who is indeed a rapist in this novel) and even Henry VIII. She is sly, sneaky, and using these men for attention.

These problems are all of her own causing

Why are they all so incestuous no wonder everyone died in childbirth they were all having mutated children

Got annoying in the last third. She's whiny and unlikeable. Many characters like her have been framed as the victims of circumstance woman usually were in these times but here it's kind of age gets what she deserves which isn't pleasant or necessary.
