Anna's "discoveries" (if u can call it that) feels unearned. It was only handed to her by characters with no personality whatsoever whose only purpose in the story is to help her feel like she has any achievement.

Anna feels ingenuine; the book wants me to see her as kind, but she gives away old stuff while casually dropping $500 for revenge. Supposedly she’s the smartest sister? The prose is dry, the characters bland and indistinguishable. Basing them on the Kardashians explains the lack of nuance.

So far so bad. The characters are white-washed and cut board cutouts. And am I really supposed to like Henry Waldorf? he's a womanizer and a capitalist who wants to capture an indigenous bird ffs.
