Status Updates From Aqibət duyğusu

I find it interesting. So far the book is writer from the perspective of a man speaking about his youth. How he had 3 a friend group with another friend that joined later. He is considered the smart, philosophical friend though they all seem studious. It is set in London and we know the time period when they were kids were before phones were invented though since they were mentioned they will possibly appear later.

FIRST LINE: I remember, in no particular order:
—a shiny inner wrist;
—steam rising from a wet sink as a hot frying pan is laughingly tossed into it;
—gouts of sperm circling a plughole, before being sluiced down the full length of a tall house;
—a river rushing nonsensically upstream, its wave & wash lit by half a dozen chasing torchbeams;
