I am not going to be finishing this book. There were too many characters, too many POVs, and in 50 pages I learned nothing to make me care about any of it.

A slightly non-traditional fantasy landscape, multiple POVs from vastly different social classes/stations that you know will eventually have intertwining stories (self sacrificing outlaws and misfit nobles included), AND a lovable dog sidekick?! Say. No. More.
