Oh frick. The author's already doing all the same things she did in Book #1. I've been shown who the killer is, been told what their motives are, so now it's just a matter of getting to the end to see the police solve it. The perp's mental state is the same as the one in #Book 1, they have the same mannerisms & tics. They have similar reasons for doing what they do. It's hard to care, even with a 'twist' promised..
