Status Updates From Strayborn (Draev Guardians #1)

Dang. Haven't read a fantasy-school-story that detailed the days like that. And here I was, getting all annoyed with Cyrus because she wasn't using her Ability. She's only been there about 3 days, not 3 weeks...she doesn't know how to use it yet... 😅

Slightly confused...I wasn't aware of Cyrus making any preparations for a male disguise. So why is she surprised that people think she's a girl? Is it just because her mom and sis were jerks and frequently said things like "you're not petty enough to be a girl"?? Guess I'll find out...

Not too big of a fan of the POV so far (Chosen One, in and out of close third to omniscient), but the Cockney-accented (or maybe it's Australian), trench-coat-wearing vempar is pretty dang cool, and I can't wait to see what the school is like. X)

OMW these characters have run away with my heart. I'M FEELING ALL THE FEELS PEOPLES. ALL THE FEELS.

I really like Nephryte.... I'm also REALLY worried that he's actually a bad guy.... but I REALLLY don't want him to be.... AGGGHHHHHH

Really loving hanging out at this school. It sort of feels a bit like going back to Hogwarts... but also is all it's own thing, too. :)

ACK! I don't want to be introduced to a new character, I need to know what's going on with Cyrus!!!!!!!! (new character seems quite intriguing, as well... just already invested in Cyrus' story... I'm sure we'll get back to it)
