To be completely honest here, this is what I was expecting when I watched Steven Universe during the pandemic. I wanted this kind of messed up story about people being unable to grieve, and then it was only a little bit like that. I hated all the slice of life filler. The gem stuff barely got any screen time. I should have just read this instead.
