Since I just read Outlaw Ma Reynolds, and that is the whole first part of this volume, it went really fast. I’m really enjoying Mal as a lawman so far. We’ll just have to see where this all goes.

She tells him to join in a heist, the corrupted sheriff "arrests" him and confiscates the money. She wants him to join her, Mooncomes and she flees. They hand over the corrupted sheriff to the alliance and Mal is made Sheriff.
