I like these books well enough, but they feel more YA to me and not UF. The heroine is supposed to be 20 but as her cousin said, she’s acting very immature. It’s just driving me bonkers; you know I’m getting old when I just want to shake sense into both of the MCs and tell them to grow the fuck up!

Really enjoyed the first book and so far I'm having fun with its sequel. I am a little apprehensive about the focus on the four characters who come from the same world and seem to be part of the same series (according to Goodreads), but so far I don't feel like they really belong. It's such an odd thing to say, because they came first, but that's just how it feels to me right now.
