No chemistry or feeling between the MC’s. The dates were stereotypical, unrealistic & convenient. The “conflict” was as lukewarm as the love in here, it was dramatic/ridiculous. Their HEA produced no feeling whatsoever. Worst kind of book: non-descriptive love scenes. The book was repetitive, wordy & boring overall. Her friendships & relationships w/ townspeople were the best parts of the book. Glad to be done.

12-19. pg265. Disappointed in my progress lately. The big “blowup” was unexpected and random and feels overblown for what it is. If this is the “big drama” in the book, it’s pretty mild and lame…We need better than that.

Let me guess…even though the girl is about to go on 12 first dates, she falls in love with her best guy friend from the beginning as she gives him the rundown after each date she realizes it was him all along! Tell me I’m wrong.

There is 20 pages left and no reason to root for a single man in this book or Kate for that matter. The man she’s supposed to end up with is unlikeable and they aren’t on speaking terms 90% of the time. I’m so mad hahah
