Reading this for some holiday-ish fun, but like the hype surrounding the not-for-me series (book or tv) Virgin River, I’m struggling through it. If slapping characters was a thing, I’d probably do it.

Twelve dates and I'm pretty sure she's gonna end up with one of her childhood friends. 😆 Calling it now.

There is almost too much imagery. Slightly distracting

1. The cover and resume on this app
2. He got more than five pages history (even her parents didn't come close to that)
3. She called him when she was drunk and he was visible worried
4. He warned her already more than 3 times for dangerous guys
5. She was jealous when she saw him with his good girlfriend but couldn't explain why
6. She is always with him
7.....

I don't know if I like this. The first 2 chapters I was clueless because of the beard guy on the Dutch cover and the fact her best friend has a stable and great relationship. But now it's total clear, she is going to end up with him. And I don't like it, I'm okay if a book is a bit predictable but come on... I'm not over the half of the book and there are already so many signs.

Ugh I don’t like Christmas books when it’s not Christmas but there wasn’t any good books available. All the great ones are on the waiting list.

Nach der Hälfte musste ich es abbrechen, da es mich leider gar nicht gepackt hat. Eventuell lese ich den Rest dann im Dezember, wenn ich wieder mehr in Weihnachtsstimmung bin🥲

Enjoying the book, (Christmas book in January…great!) but feeling personally attacked ((not really))

“You don’t find many five-foot-five women with size eight feet.” Seriously am I abnormal or what?! At 5’1 I guess I should have child size feet.

this is kinda boring and a ridiculous amount of detail. but i’m committed. i need to finish it even tho my hold lapsed rip

Reading this makes me wish it's Christmas again.. but also it's going a bit slow, feels like I've read way more than 100 pages
