Having a hard time remembering who the secondary characters are. Had to look back to remember Evelyn and Barry. These characters are mentioned in passing here & there, but not enough to feel that I know them.

Why would you make an effort to write a book about 12 dates, when the MC obviously doesn't care about them and ends up with the first mentioned guy in the book (her friend who had a girlfriend already)?

no luck again with a holiday romance. Guess I'll try mystery or thriller next if I want to finish this year with a 100 books read.

This book has been so hard to get through. I’m starting to think I’m done with these kinds of romance novels. They’re too cheesy and kinda dumb.

I'm DNFing...hate doing this with books but truly I can not get past the random background info in mass amounts when it feels like it's contributing absolutely nothing to the story. I really enjoyed the dialogue bits, but the inner monologue is unfortunately too hard for me to get through
