The last book I didn’t find as exciting / tight a plot as the first but the Oracle’s escape & possession still has my attention. As do the character interactions (clever dialogue, or at least it tickles ME). Just got to the point where Carrie sires a nearly-dead Cyrus and now the whole love triangle is thrown into the mix (honestly can’t pin Nathan down, def not insta-love.. just insta-lust)

Have 2 days left to finish this, which I plan to, but having trouble finding a stretch of time to just read (even though I’m UNEMPLOYED).. pacing is off since the first book bc now it’s first person Carrie w third person Max (no Cyrus like the last book) and no separation between the two (prob rebook formatting) but harder to follow along (just a bit)…

Haha, first chapter and we already have Carrie deciding in her head that her love/ex/whatever is cheating on her because of no real reason and wow this book will be just great. Why do I do this to myself.
