So far, not enjoying these 1965-1968 poems very much at all. He must have been in an especially depressive period of his life to write some of these… “living” on page 118 is the only one that’s really caught my attention without me rolling my eyes at any misogynistic lines, as well.

“don’t come round but if you do…” is probably my fave poem in the collection so far. relatable for those in a dark spot, & nothing majorly misogynistic/offensive for once😃
