我从来没走过这么黑的路，
但是不管怎么样，能走就是好的，
什么都不做只会让自己更害怕，
而且我一停下来就会乱想。

once in a while i run across one of those sentences that really stumps me even thou i know all the words. ofc once i run it through a translator it all makes sense. anyway, when i see smth like this i hanker down and explore every single thing about it that puzzles me so it wont puzzle me again.

eh didnt manage to hit 50% but its ok ill continue tmr. ill be mostly doing graded readers for a while now.

after chap 1 it goes in much smoother. wanna read up to 50% td and then switch to mulan.

so far this is probably the gnarliest book from mandarin companion ive seen. not in terms of the vocab but the sentences are longer and more complex. nice!
