Status Updates From Getting Lost with Boys

Glad to be done. When you don’t like the plot of the hero being her sister’s ex, or the events taking place—that road trip was awful—& you don’t rlly like any of the characters, there’s not much to enjoy. The humor was the best thing. Rich, high maintenance, name-brand-dropping characters are not my cuppa. I’m reminded why I wasn’t a big fan of this author back in HS. Ending was cheesy, rom com movie style.

7-27. Pg186. After all the progress I made yesterday I was hoping to finish this today but I didn’t have much reading time at work, or after. Not feeling the chemistry or seeing these two together. Idt they go together or will work out…and he dated her sister!!

Why why why why WHY do authors write heroes who dated the heroine’s sister? That is so messed up and sick and twisted. And all the comments about them. This hero is awful. And so is their road trip. He’s not hero material at all. And the heroine is high maintenance. Not too fun…certainly not like the synopsis seemed. Very happy with my progress though! And at least there’s some humor in here.

I tried not to judge when I saw Vegas and went okay for a second until they had to get past a bouncer to go INTO the Mandalay Bay. The casino. I thought it was a club and then she said they walked into Mandalay Bay. If you slip any money to a bouncer standing in front of a casino, you just got scammed.
