I read The Night Rhonda Ferguson was Killed, and it was one of the best takes I've seen about how the loss of love impacts others. Jones' concise, detailed writing style provided a provocative approach to description that created my favorite scenes: Cassandra losing love for Wesley, Rhonda dying, Anita singing to sleep. These scenes hit me in the heart and showed me how love affects others, especially when it's gone.

The first story (The Girl Who Raised Pigeons) made me cry, so something's definitely working *gestures vaguely at self*
