AHHHH this one is so good! My fav out of all the books so far. I'm so happy Gerard and Ismae found each other, and the revelations about gerard's plot were so good. I can't wait to see his story unfold, his overarching plot is my fav part of the series and it seems like there'll be 2 more books to finish this whole thing up. But ugh, such good action and romance in this last stretch!

I love this couple so much. I find it super interesting that they are both the beast in this retelling in different ways - Gerard forced to live up to his Grandmother's will, Ismae forced to live in the box of a Princess. It's super interesting, and both characters have so much hidden depth and I love how their relationship is progressing. But dang, Ismae's character arc is superb!

Figured Ismae would be the next Princess in the series and was right. I also was super pumped to see Gerard take center stage, and I love them both so much! Their dynamic is fantastic, I love that they both have darkness and attraction towards each other, and are slowly helping each other heal. Can't wait to see them fall in love for reals, this is my fav couple out of the series so far! They're both Beasts p much
