We lived in Newport for 4 years with our children, my son was born there. My husband and I took a vacation there before he went to sea the first year of our marriage, and we both attended OCS there. Many fond memories of our life there, this book is bringing them back.

This story has an English feel, like an Agatha Christie. It's a locked room mystery that takes place in a Newport, RI mansion. The writing style makes the story feel timeless. There is no slang, no text speak and no mention of a cell phone for at least the first hundred pages. I'm finding it refreshing.
