Status Updates From Concise Theology

Very informational. I’ve only read a few pages and I’ve learned so much. Lots of ideas to think about.

These are the things we need to be living by, people!!!

O pecado original é substituir a teonomia pela autonomia.

Theology presented in a highly readable format. Each chapter is only a couple pages long and covers a different theological topic. The guy is super easy to understand.

Reads more like a reference vs a novel. Packer packs so much into really rich - but really short - passages with lots of scripture references to study deeper. So, prob gonna be a realllly slow read.

Its title is perfectly fitting. It is concise, but a very good starting point for a systematic theology. Because of the short sections I read it more like a devotional. I enjoyed this read very much.

The God who created the world can intrude creatively into it.

God is mystery - theology finds its end in doxology

God is transcendent

Authority - in Scripture

Good section on how our respond to general revelation makes us guilty

Well, the "I'll read one chapter of this per hundred words to motivate myself to finish this essay quicker" plan clearly didn't work.
