Sigh. For all the author’s own claims that she has grown in her writing skills-this reboot is soft & underbaked. I’m honestly not sure why she doesn’t understand the first edition of this series was lightening in a bottle. Rewriting it to fit into her future projects-I get. But so far it’s not reading quite the same-which seems a consistent pattern for her. I think J Bree is finished.
