Status Updates From ฤกษ์งามยามปารีส

I’ve found, as I become a reader shaped by experience, Hemingway to be an author I get to treat myself to every couple of months. 20 pages in and I already can sense a beautiful relationship between this memoir and myself. All good things will find me eventually!

While DNFd, I loved this: "When spring came, even the false spring, there were no problems except where to be happiest. The only thing that could spoil a day was people and if you could keep from making engagements, each day had no limits. People were always the limiters of happiness except for the very few that were as good as spring itself."

DNF. It's not you; it's me? This one kind of pains me, because I do unironically love Hemingway, but I'm trying to be true to myself and live that DNF lifestyle this year. I enjoyed some parts and was bored in others. In fairness to me, this isn't a work of his fiction AND he didn't think this was complete in order to publish before his death. It was done postumously. So maybe he and I are still on the same page.
