Un cuentito corto pero muy interesante, todavía no me creo que todos los participantes hayan sido contemporáneos, pero me agrado, muy buena idea.

Mark Twain’s mind appears as a Gatling gun; the salvo of which blasts his barbed lexicon ripping through our persevering orbs and straight into our sixth sense faculty. The Bacon-Shakespearean dissension became a celebrated raging debacle, yet his suasory ink beguiles the intellect of his literary progeny to decipher its underlying tone and meticulous narration.

It just ends all of a sudden after just another bawdy anecdote. I was left thinking my ebook was truncated, but then the analysis goes on. Fun and short, but too short, I guess

Rereading this after many many years. I remembered it as amusing and thoroughly improper. I wondered what was the place of this book in Twain's ouevre, the lengthy introduction has made an excellent job of clearing that up for me. I love the more unusual works in MT's bibilography, with The Mysterious Stranger at the top. This was clearly an entertainment for the author and that is how it should be evaluated.

Understand that I am reading all the essays that came with this book and have not gotten to the actual work yet. There is a lot of interesting information there, but it makes for a slow read.
