Status Updates From Gold Mask

Still laughing at myself for thinking there would be a ✨moment✨ and not a murder 😭😂😂

Honestly this is just amazing so far, I don’t even have words right now 😭

"I have failed, but I have no regrets. I have had my revenge. Also I have gained a treasure more precious than a thousand works of art. I mean none other than Otori Fujiko. Now, together with this dear lover of mine, I am embarking on a journey through the skies. When we die, we shall die together.”

“He would kill without a qualm. His personality had done an about-face. The tamed beast had acquired a taste for blood. The impression of that gold mask with a trickle of blood trailing from its crescent grin had made him uncanny.”

“Still, I was amazed by your sharpshooting. You shot my dummy clean through the heart. I shudder to think what would have happened if it had been me.”

“What a bizarre combination. A curious bond between a beautiful girl carefully raised in a good family and a mysterious demon. A terrible golden love.”

“You called him a golden devil, didn't you? Yes, he could be a demon. Supermen are always mistaken for devils rather than gods. But what a lovely devil he is. Gold Mask! Even just the sound of his name makes my heart thrill."

“But to err is human, and even he was no god.”

“Were they relieved by the death of this demon?
Oh no, they were not. They were assailed by an intense disappointment. They sighed, mourning the unsatisfyingly abrupt death of this golden hero.”

“At such times, I suppose, the massive organism known as human society comes down with an acute case of some rare disease and briefly loses its mind. The outbreak of those weird, outlandish events is that astounding.”
