Status Updates From Hegel: A Reinterpretation

As an introduction to Hegel it's quite appalling. I'm starting the commentary of the introduction to the Phenomenology. I hope it's worth it.

Quite journalistic and unhelpful so far

'Hegel contrasts reason and understanding[:] "To sublimate such oppositions has become the fixed and sole interest of reason. This interest does not mean that reason is against opposition and limitation in general; for necessary bifurcation is a factor of life which forms itself through eternal opposing, and totality is possible in the highest liveliness only through restoration out of the highest separation.'
