Status Updates From Amanda

One near death experience and she's already being nicer, what'd I tell ya.

This girl is annoying, conceited, and whiny, but maybe after she almost dies on the Oregon Trail, she'll be more likable.

I thought I was in a fantasy mood but now I'm reading this

Amanda's father is such a man-baby ... Oh my god. Now I see where Amanda got it from. Every day he's moping and whining, when he's the one who dragged them on the Oregon Trail to begin with after gambling away all their freaking money!

Okay, so now Amanda likes the oxen enough that she's given each one a name. She is becoming less bratty, probably due to the numerous deaths she's witnessed at this point and her own near escape from death. I'm starting to like her more. She's only here because her dad gambled away all their money and had to run from people he owes, and he sold all her late mom's jewelry to fund their trip. I think he sucks at life!

"Oh, Papa. They're so *homely*!" - Amanda is scandalized by how oxen look. She is so bratty and stupid so far. Looking forward to her first fainting spell from the heavy silk dresses she insists on wearing on this covered wagon journey.

Amanda is a brat who is definitely going to get her ass toughened up by the Oregon Trail, lol
