We have returned to the multiple narrator thing and have been introduced to a character’s perspective being told in the second person - its a subtle thing that happened in book #2 alternating between present and past tense, but the second person feels so cool. I’m not sure I’ve ever read a book with this feature

Crikey. Darkest thing I've ever read. Masterpiece though.

What this sequence of novels achieves altogether is staggering. A truly original, daring, horrific, uncompromising, hypnotic experimental work of crime fiction.
