Status Updates From Bag of Bones

Mike awakens from a fitful dream about Sara Tisdale (and others) and breaks his long writing desert, beginning a novel about a man in Florida. Maddie has called, hopeful because she has spoken with a custody attorney. That attorney calls Mike and tells him not to be alone with Maddie. Mike attends a deposition held by the GAL for Kyra, who is both aggressive and antagonistic. Mike is accompanied by Romeo Bissonette.

Hardy supposedly said, the most brilliantly drawn characters in a novel are but a bag of bones. I understood because that was what I felt like in those terminable, dissembling days, a bag of bones.
