What a delightfully weird book with some perfectly hilarious parts. I think the audiobooks enhance the absurd silliness - hearing the word butthole repeated several times by an unimpressed German-accented engineer gave me the giggles. VanderMeer’s sense of humor apparently aligns closely with mine. His work is becoming second only to Murderbot, in terms of my fondness and willingness to read it repeatedly.
