A visually scary but pretty decent immortal guy tolerates an annoying morally rigid human girl who keeps accusing him of being evil.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the reading the author intended, but I'm weirdly here for it?

It’s the amazing lovable brick I knew it to bes whoever this author is, I hope she’s published today and I need to find out her name because I NEEEEED more books from here like I need air

I just knew it was gonna be another brick of amazeness and so far I’m right ugh I love her miles long books and writing

I’m not even that far into this book and I feel I need to savor every bit of it… it is just too good 😮‍💨

God-tier book. I need time to recover.
I SOBBED for the last 25-30%. Like to the point I couldn’t even read the pages.

Basically I’ve been sobbing for three chapters straight. I’m ruined. Make no mistake, I’m LOVING it, but wow… this is beautifully sad.

I actually forgot how Lan has nothing left to lose when she goes to Azrael. It makes her brazen and determined.

Straying from my spooky season list (and I was doing so well 😂.. oops) but I was craving R. Lee Smith.

Just found out Smith is also on Ao3 (that totally tracks with the horrific cover but amazing story). No wonder I’m ripping through these long ass chapters.

Rereading, my heart already hurts knowing what's to come.

I stopped at 27%. Good story, but I’m just not in the mood for a slow burn at the moment. I’ll get back to it at a later time.

I don't even care that these chapters are 1.5 hours long.
