Status Updates From Ghost in Love

So far it's reading a little bit better in French than it did in English... but I still find the interactions between Thomas and his parents to be abrupt, bizarrely casual (like he's talking to addled peers), and just a bit weird. And I still can't bring myself to care about either the arrogant father, nor the anxious main character. I'm just... bored.
