It is also been noted that food crap treated with chemicals have a higher nitrate content which gives off minimal gases, however when stored in Silos, the gas can become pervasive and lethal to anyone who breeds it in as well as becoming extremely flammable

Another shortsighted impact of humanities cleansing of flora is that as plants die, they tend to concentrate their sugar content. This makes previously uneditable plants, more interesting to cattle and other fuana. However, the plants were sprayed with chemicals, legal to the animal often it can thicken the blood of an animal to the point where it can no longer spread oxygen through its body causing asphyxiation

This chapter hit me at the perfect time based on my drive to work. As is commonly the case with this book it speaks to a short side of narrow minded approach in man achieving an outcome. If man sees an immediate use for a plant such as food or medicine, it’s cultivated, if not its in the way. Earths green mantle.
On 6/17/26 I drove to work. On route 9 near granite gorge there is a winding road that follows the river and on either side the banks of the hills are filled to the brim with wildflowers. Yellows white and purples. It struck me as incredibly beautiful and has often been my favorite part of the long trek to Keene. It left me with the question. Why just here?
