I was enjoying the book. Easy German to read for me and enjoyable enough when suddenly I realised it didn't contain any account of the 'laufen' from the title. Nothing about the nature of her daily walks. The physical and mental demands. Did they walk together or alone? What was she seeing, thinking, feeling as she walked?
Now I'm bored with the book but still trying to finish as an exercise to read German ...
