This book was a breath of fresh air and the exact opposite of traditional diet-culture books. I was first introduced to it during eating disorder treatment, and its focus on intuitive eating and trusting your hunger cues was incredibly helpful. I highlighted much of the book and know I’ll be referencing it for years to come.
However, I didn’t care for the social justice pieces she wove throughout.
