Either the tangents have started to become more focused and the pop culture references reduced in favor of a more sincere shift in tone, or I’m just adapting to the cadence of the book. I’m starting to enjoy it.

I liked Confessions and thought I would love this, but sometimes you just come across someone whose communication style is so foreign to your own, the difference is insurmountable. This should have been called “On the Road with Heidegger, my college homework, and Ladybird”. The concepts are simple but the delivery is bloated with an above average amount of pop culture references that pad the book.

Idly picked this one up again and became engrossed.
