I was right to avoid this book for so long. It's not bad or anything. But it's way heavier than its predecessors. I'm feeling kinda gloomy. Thank the mm gods there's a guaranteed HEA.

Wow. This is a pretty angsty beginning. I guess it can't be helped what with Clark's history. But I hope it gets more heart warming soon.

Sad to report that, although this book had all the right ingredients for a H/c, character growth feel-fest, the story falls flat. Along with excessive, clumsy preaching, I also got a heavy helping of stilted, formal, unbelievable dialogue. The Daddy relationship went way too quick and there was little tension. You make me sad, book.
